About Thomas Henry Made
As Tom progressed in his career, he realized another part of him was equally unfulfilled: his artistic side. Thinking about what he could do most naturally, Tom considered his own experiences while building a proper wardrobe. Somewhat paradoxically, Tom went from being a reluctant suit-wearer when he started his career to having a passion for classic menswear.
So, in 2013, Tom founded Thomas Henry Made and began serving professional gentlemen in New York and Toronto in May 2014.
A year later, he was accepted into the Toronto Fashion Incubator and he was a finalist for the Emerging Menswear Designer Award in 2015. Tom’s goal is to be the bridge between fashion and business, bringing the best features of new fashions from the runway together with an understanding of the realities of working in an office environment – and how to relate to like-minded gentlemen.
The combination of his legal and menswear worlds is more than the sum of their parts, and make up a unified whole: Thomas Henry Proper.
